Blush pink is a color that looks GREAT on darker complexions, and not just on our cheeks. Since last
year, there has been an explosion of blush-colored clothing everywhere and I decided to finally try it for my self. And am I glad I did! While doing my regular "window shopping" on the Eloquii website, I stumbled upon this amazing layered tulle skirt and knew I had to have it. The layers provide a more chic and sophisticated look to the skirt. I also noticed this sleeveless deep v bodysuit in the same color of the site as well. A little lightbulb went off in my head: combining these pieces together would make a great outfit!
I decided I'd where this look to The Curvy Fashionista's TCFStyle Brunch of which NikkiFreeStyle was the presenting sponsor. (A blog post about the awesome brunch is forthcoming! Stay Tuned)
It was my first foray into sponsoring an event in the plus size fashion arena and I wanted to make sure I looked my best for the occasion. I felt absolutely amazing in this look.
When you can get comfortable, classy, fun and flirty out of a single look, you're definitely winning!
There was a HUGH bumblebee harassing me during the photo shoot. See the arrow! |
