.... and I Am Here For It! Christmas is my favorite holiday because it's the time of year that we celebrate the birth of Christ and when my extended family converges on my grandmother's home in Orlando, Florida to share gifts and love with one another.
I've written before about my mom and her seven sisters. Well each of them and their families, including all my uncles, my first cousins, their children and my husband, spend the entire Christmas Day together. From sun up to sun down, we are eating, drinking and being merry in the house that each of us have grown up in.
Most of my friends are amazed at the sheer number of Christmas gifts that are under the tree as each member of my family buys each member of our family a gift. You read that right. We all buy each other a gift. This photo above taken on Christmas Day 2014 .... and not everyone had placed their gifts under the tree. You can imagine it's complete pandemonium, but we love every single minute of it.
I enjoy playing dress up during the holidays. I'm all for Glitter, Glitz & Glam, and Christmastime is the perfect time to wear all the sequins and satin you can get your hands on. This look I'm wearing completely puts me in the Christmas spirit and is perfect for holiday gatherings. The red satin skirt definitely screams Christmas Time Is Here ....

ReplyDeleteSo while it's true that the people make an event (and the people definitely made any event!) this event venue definitely adds a different dimension to it. Went there for an evening event and I was really impressed.
