Fringe Is In

Fringe is all the rage this season and in keeping up with this fashion trend, I've found myself a little over indulgent lately. Over the last year, I've purchased and been gifted my fair share of fringed-out clothing and accessories, from jackets to dresses, clutch bags and shoes, to this fabulous faux suede two-tier skirt.

Fringe, in all its 1970's glory, yet re-purposed for the 21st Century fashionista, is certainly eye-catching. And this skirt (here) caught my eye and had me pulling out the debit card as soon as I saw it. The length is perfect, and the double helping of fringe was a major plus! The fabric is soft and smooth and the fit is very comfortable.

I paired the skirt with this striped one sleeve knitted top that I purchased last year from Eloquii. It's my first time wearing the top and I love it. Thank goodness I got it in black and white (which if you follow me, you know I LOVE) as well. The top came be paired with jeans as well for a sporty casual look.

Fringe will continue to be a popular fashion trend well into 2016 as evidenced by all the looks (here) with this eye-catching detail on designer runways during NYC and Paris fashion weeks in late summer and early fall.

For my makeup, I wanted to do something with some sparkle in honor of the Christmas holiday season. I can't believe Christmas is less than a month away. Where did 2015 go? Here's a close up of the face paint.

This was a fun look from head to toe, and I enjoyed everything about it. The best part? So did my husband, who took all the fashion photos for this post (pardon all the shadows). Big Shout Out to Russell!!!

I hope you enjoyed the look as much as I did, and perhaps you've found some inspiration too! As always, thanks for stopping by!

xoxo,
