Diane von Furstenburg is one of my favorite designers. Simply put, she's iconic. Her interpretation of the wrap dress -- initially knee length, designed with a stretch jersey that clings to the body and long sleeves -- became popular in the early 1970s and has become a staple in women's closets all over the world. Several various versions exist now, and other designers -- from Rodeo Drive to online boutiques -- have replicated this iconic dress a million times over.
Because the wrap dress is so versatile, I find myself purchasing at least one every quarter. The varying lengths make them easy to style for work or for play, and they can easily translate from night to day with the appropriate accessories.
This Grace Wrap Dress was gifted to me by Curvaceous Boutique and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! The Tiffany Blue color offers a soft feminine feel, while the high split provides a hint of sexy seduction.
I paired it with a favorite clutch (click here to see other ways I've styled this clutch) and open toe heels, both in neutral, to add to the softness of the look. The chunky white baubles just add a air of class to the overall look. And this dress made me remember I had a Tiffany's gift card from my auntie that I hadn't used! Woot woot! There are a pair of silver dangle earrings on their website that I have been eyeballing! The gift card will be put to use soon.
This particular dress in Tiffany blue is no longer available, but a similar color is (here). You can also purchase it in several different colors. I have my eye on the orange and the yellow.
Hope you like the look, and please stop by the Curvaceous Boutique online store to find the latest fashions for curvy girls! The items offered are HOT.
Thanks for stopping by!
Love,
