Flower Power -- Spring Jumpsuit #2

Spring is finally HERE and I'm really glad about it! To usher in my favorite time of year, I'm featuring a series of posts on great springtime jumpsuits for the curvy ladies. As springtime is synonymous with beautiful flowers, I think today's jumpsuit is most appropriate as today's style feature.

I'm in full bloom in this jumpsuit I've nicknamed Flower Power! I purchased this piece last summer from Boohoo and kind of forgot about it. When I decided to do a blog series on jumpsuits, I went through my closet looking for a different piece and came across this one. I was so excited because it's perfect for this Springtime feature!

This piece is very slimming and the quality of the material is pretty good too. There is some stretch in it as well. I purchased a size 16 and I think the fit is great. I paired it with a black obi belt (similar here) I bought from Eloquii a few years back, my small black LV clutch (here) and these classic "vintage" Gucci pumps I've had for years. I bought these back when Tom Ford was leading the creative direction at Gucci. Those were indeed the very best years of the iconic fashion house's resurgence!

On my lips is Lady Danger, my all time favorite MAC Lipstick. I just love the bright color and the matte finish. I topped it with a little bit of an orange lip gloss for a bit of sheen.

So many plus size women are afraid of bright colors and patterns and I rebuke the notion that we can't rock these looks as well. With the right cut, fit and undergarments (that goes for women of all shapes and sizes) any body type can look great in fitted clothing, patterns and vibrant colors.
