Golden by Jill Scott (who I damn near idolize because she is just REAL, plain and simple) is by far my favorite song. Golden is the song that was played as my new husband and I danced into our wedding reception . It is the soundtrack to the way in which we choose to live this awesome and blessed life God has given us. 

At 44, I have found that growing up and maturity means being honest; honest about who I am, what I want and what I need. I also fully understand and acknowledge that we are accountable for the knowledge, resources and abilities that God has blessed us with. If we have been given much, then He expects that much more from us. Happiness. Clarity. Discernment. Get you some. You won’t ever let it slip away!
