In The Clutch -- GIVEAWAY!

I am such a sucker for a good clutch bag, and I own more than my fair share of the sometimes mini, sometimes oversized, occasionally designer, often times affordable, but always sleek and stylish outfit accoutrements. In fact, I prefer a clutch bag over a statement necklace any day! The right clutch bag coupled with the right outfit, equals style personified in my opinion. And because I feel so strongly about this, I have accumulated quite a few clutches over the years.

Luckily for my readers and followers, it's time to part with at least one of my favorites! So since I've reached 2,000-plus followers on Instagram, to "celebrate" this milestone in building the NikkiFree brand I'm giving away this very cute and on trend clutch bag from C. Wonder (retail price $48). The colors and design of the bag are just fun and flirty, and with spring right around the corner, it's perfect to pair with a cute sundress or a white tee, boyfriend jeans and a moto jacket.

If you aren't familiar with C. Wonder, here's a brief background on the now-defunct retailer. The company was founded in 2011 by Chris Burch after his divorce from Tory Burch (whose classically preppy and trendy line I love). The look of C. Wonder's clothes and other items had a very Tory Burch and Kate Spade feel, but were far less expensive than these more popular brands. However, C. Wonder couldn't compete with the powerhouse brand he helped his ex-wife to build. In January 2015, Chris Burch filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and all 32 stores were eventually closed. Even the website has been shutdown. Oh My!

I actually really liked some of their items, especially their clutch bags (DUH!), their shoes, jewelry and whatnots. I purchased a fully loaded classic wicker picnic basket at C. Wonder a year or so ago hoping my husband, who likes to surprise me with sweet gifts and gestures, would get the hint that I'd love to go on a picnic with just him and our baby, Petey (our 4 year old Shih Tzu). It hasn't happened yet .... But I digress ...

Anywho, if you're lucky enough to own anything from C. Wonder, it's safe to say we can consider the pieces collectors items! Considering they were pretty much created to spite the $3 billion fashion and style maven that is Tory Burch, we own a piece of fashion history. So winning this clutch bag is a win-win! I'm holding on to a couple myself!
